Four workers are able to place forty tiles in ten minutes; therefore their rate is 4 tiles/min

One worker's rate is 1 tile/min.

In twenty minutes, a worker will place 20 tiles.

If sixty tiles have to be placed in that time, 3 workers will be needed.

This question can be hard if you don't know the strategy.

It is basically, the rate of the rate.

So I came across this in another example, but the answer is a proportion of all rates. 4w/40tiles/10min = x/60tiles/20min. 4w/4 = x/3 x = 3 workers
