There needs to be an equal amount of shapes so a triangle and circle need to be in the last square for all shapes to have 3 each

There needs to be an equal amount of shapes so a triangle and circle need to be in the last square for all shapes to have 3 each
I figured out that the amount of shapes have to be equal in total so a triangle and circle are needed for all shapes to have 3 of each
Squiggly lines: each row has a set of one, two and three squiggly lines, therefore we know the answer only has one squiggly line.
There are three squares present. There are three diamonds present.
There’s only two triangles present. So the answer needs a triangle.
There are only two circles present, therefore answer needs a circle.
Only one answer fits. Keep it simple and the answers become easier to get.
The solution is D :
- Because each row has 1/2/3 wave -> this will eliminate ABC
- for the shape when we have the shape in the bottom and above the wave we have shapes above/below the wave -> eliminating EF
This is how I got it, it worked but I don't know if it was the right way to get there:
3rd of each row is between the number of walls of the previous two...
Wave/circle = 1 wall
Triangle = 3 walls
Square/diamond = 4 walls
Row 1: 1st is 9 walls, 2nd is 5 walls, between those two is 7 (and 3rd does show 7 walls)
Row 2: 1st is 5 walls, 2nd is 7 walls, between those two is 6 (and 3rd does show 6 walls)
Row 3: 1st is 6 walls, 2nd is 4 walls, between those two is 5
A and D show 5 walls; the answer would be D because there is a secondary pattern of 1, 2, or 3 waves per row
