This is a simplified version of Dragos's post:

To solve the puzzle, think of it like a Sudoku. Each shape (circle, star, triangle, etc.) must appear once in every row and column of the 3x3 grid. The correct answer is C because it provides the missing shapes needed to complete the grid pattern.

Each shape moves clockwise.

Think of all tables as 1 and each shape must appear in all columns and rows

It's like the sudoku effect, each square contains the position of the general figure, and it must be located in every square of the 9 sudoku squares. If you draw a big sudoku pattern of 9 squares on a separate piece of paper, fill it out with each sign in that square and see where the sign is missing. That will be your answer.

Works out to be answer C, as the missing parts complete the sudoku pattern

'Figure C' is NOT the correct solution !

neither is 'figure A,B,D,E,or F' that are offered !

The 'correct solution' is as follows -

'triangle shape' at 'centre row' and 'centre column' !!!

This conforms to 'triangle Rule' > 'different rows, but 2 in same column'

'circle shape' at 'top row' and 'left column', as in 'figure's C and F'

'star shape' at 'bottom row' and 'left column', as in 'figure's C and F'

Alternative 'triangle shape' at 'bottom row' and 'left column' would also

conform to 'triangle Rule' > 'different columns, but 2 in same row'

However, 'star shape' is required to occupy that location.
