It's usually the convention that shapes can be folded along the dashed lines, however this question can be solved without any folding/straightening info.

If you think it can’t be done.

Make a grid 0= no block, 1-4= blocks 1-4:

0 1 2 2

1 1 3 2

4 3 3 0

4 4 0 0

So D is correct.

they say D is the right answer but I say none. Don't see how you can make D with these blocks. Any combo results in the last three blocks all in a row.
