Think of this as a line that kind move out of the picture a little bit and then pops back up. Kind of like putting a beach ball underwater and then the pressure pushes it back out of the water. So it’s ball with line- no ball with line- ball with line- no ball with line. Also it’s kinda going at 45 degrees clock wise each slide. You got this!
my answer was between A or D, it was either what pattern was next is flipped horizontally or what pattern was next if the opposite.. so i chose D but guess not..
If you hold the vertical line and swivel 180 degrees the image is inverted so a vertical line as the fourth pattern also works. That solution is more spatial than simply rolling the image 90 degrees

It's not A it's flipped not spun to the left!
