Deductive reasoning tips

In its broadest sense, deductive reasoning involves reasoning from general principles to specific conclusions. In deductive logic, rules are applied to related pieces of information to arrive at rational statements.

As long as the premises are true, the conclusions drawn from deductive reasoning are certain; this is different to inductive inferences, where the conclusions display a degree of unreliability.
